Siktdjup

Siktdjup is an interactive poetry experience, created for experimental poetry magazine Kontradiktion. You can experience it at siktdjup.xyz.

This was a collaboration with a couple of my friends - poet Anna Arvidsdotter and live visual artist Simon David Rydén. They handled the poetry and the visuals, respectively, while I handled the technical back-end of the project.

That back-end was built in Javascript, using P5.js. A Google Sheet handled the content, and from there it was just a case of a bunch of if/then logic and responsive web design to make it work on as many devices as possible. I'm particularly happy with how well the shaders that Simon made sit behind the content, and how performant the whole thing is.

After releasing the website version, we also created a live audiovisual performance based on the work, which was performed at STPLN and Poeten På Hörnet in Malmö in April and June 2025.
